A Long-Awaited Return: ACIA Courses are Back in NSW!
The Australian Climbing Instructors' Association (ACIA) is thrilled to announce the long-awaited return of its courses to New South Wales. After a significant period of limited course availability in the state, the ACIA is proud to have a new Approved Course Provider ready to offer training and assessment pathways to the NSW climbing community.
This is a major milestone for the ACIA and provides a climber focused pathway for professional climbing guide training and qualifications in NSW. The absence of locally run courses has been felt keenly, and we are incredibly excited to fill this gap and once again provide the ACIA qualifications to professionals in this key climbing region
We are delighted to announce that this return is made possible through a new partnership with Blue Mountains Climbing School, a respected and well-established leader in climbing education. Known for its experienced guides and commitment to safety and professionalism.
The re-establishment of a regular course calendar in NSW will ensure that aspiring and current guides can access the highest level of training and certification without having to travel interstate. This is a moment of significant growth for the ACIA and opportunity for all climbing professionals in the state.
We encourage all interested individuals to visit the official ACIA Course Calendar to see the new course schedules and take the next step in their professional development. Alternatively you can ask for more information by contacting the ACIA (info@acia.com.au) or BMCS (climb@climbingschool.com.au) directly.
